This Privacy Policy explains what information Trayecto collects, why, and who it's shared with. Trayecto asks for personal information — including your nationality, academics, and financial situation — specifically because that's what a genuinely personalized U.S. college application plan requires, so it's worth being direct about where that information goes.
Your profile and essay data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your personalized plan — that's the entire reason it's collected. We also use account information to operate your login and to process payment via Stripe. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.
Because these providers may process data in the United States or other countries, your information may be transferred outside your home country as part of using Trayecto.
We keep your profile and generated plans for as long as your account exists, so you can return to a plan later without starting over. You can request deletion at any time — see below.
You can review the information you've submitted from your account and wizard pages at any time. To request that we correct or delete your account and associated data, email asofiasantamaria@gmail.com — we don't yet have a self-serve deletion button, so this is handled manually, and we'll confirm once it's done.
Trayecto is built for students actively preparing to apply to college and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We always use one kind of cookie: the one that keeps you signed in, set by our authentication provider (Supabase). That one isn't optional — it's what makes staying logged in possible.
With your consent — asked for the first time you visit, via the banner at the bottom of the page — we also use Google Analytics to understand how people use Trayecto: which pages get visited, roughly how many visitors we get, and general location at the country level. We never use it for advertising, and we don't use any cookie to track you across other websites. If you decline, or haven't been asked yet, Google Analytics never loads. You can change your answer at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
